Plenty of folks are anti-woo woo. I am pro. Pro woo-woo. I support the WOO. I’m all for angel reading, fairy dust sprinkling, dancing naked in a circle, sound bathing and whatever else anyone wants to try to access higher levels of consciousness, reach nirvana or just get over their stupid ex-boyfriend.
Nothing is too far out for me. I’ve tried all those things and more. But thee most important thing I’ve ever learned in all my years of studying universal laws and spiritual principles, has to be the Law of Attraction and the vibrational nature of our ever expanding universe. Phew.
It would take more than a single blog post to really dive into the topic but I thought I’d give you the quick and dirty guide to manifesting so you can give it a whirl in your own life for the next 7 to 10 days and see what pops up.
Desire – The first step in manifesting is desire. You gotta want something and you gotta have a darn good reason why. If you’re zombie walking through your life with no mmph or energy you either need to get out and mix shit up so a burning desire can be born out of some unwanted crap or you need to take a look at some old buried dreams, dig em up, and see if there’s still any zing there for you. Or maybe you’ve got 50,000 things on your desire list.
Just pick one. Write it down. I’ll wait.

OK now that you’ve got a desire, you’re gonna have to…
Let Go Of The Need – There’s desire and there’s need. Whenever we need something, like really really neeeeeed it to happen. Guess when it’s gonna come? Never.
The things we get all hung up on and need take soooo long to come around. Do you notice that the things you really want/need seem to come only after you’ve “given up”? But those things you could care less about have no problemo entering your life. It’s one of those weird catch 22’s of the Universe, but you gotta want something and at the same time let go of any need around it. Which leads nicely to our next step.
Have It Now – So how do you let go of needing something you want? You find the feelings of having that thing you want and you let yourself feel it now. When you get to experience the feeling of having what you want before it’s arrived THATS when your desire is ready to be realized. I want you ask yourself why you want the thing you want. I bet you answered with something along the lines of because when I have _____ I’ll be more fulfilled, confident, happy or have more fun.
This final step is all about taking a shortcut and going straight for the emotional state, which is underneath the thing you want. The thing you want is only a symbol. What you really want is the feeling and the state of being you think having that thing will give you. So just practice the feeling of having the thing now.
All of the work and *magic* of manifesting lies in practicing the feeling of having what you want. And the best way to do that is to dedicate some time every day to simply activating the feeling state of whatever it is that you want.
Set your timer for 15 minutes, close your eyes, get comfy and imagine having what you want, not needing it at all and what it’s like to be kick backed relaxed about it all. Do this for a while and you’ll start seeing signs of it coming near and then it’s only a matter of time.
