I’m back in L.A. after two months of serious travel.
It feels sooooo good to be home again and I’m looking forward to spending most of the summer here (although I may take a short trip to Chicago for a Tony Robbins event).
If you dream of having an online business you can run from anywhere in the world there are a few things you absolutely MUST master.
Creating a solid funnel and sales process is a big part of what’s allowed me to take my little business full-time and visit Australia, Spain, France and England in the past couple of months, all while running a booked out coaching practice.
It doesn’t have to take years or 80 hours a week either.
It does require you to have a strategic plan in place and to really systematically work at it day in and day out (this is where hiring a coach can seriously benefit you in staying consistent and having big breakthroughs).
I’m going to show you everything you need to know in order to build your list and sign on new clients every single month.
All you have to do is set a clear goal, commit to it 100% and apply the following information:
A HOT OFFER
You only need one solid offer to jump start your entire business. Focus on the number one result your client wants and create a package or program to help them get it.
Facebook ads are the fastest and easiest way to get in front of your target client these days since everyone and their grandma is on Facebook now. You can start an ad at 5 dollars a day and start building your list pronto.
First you need to create a really valuable resource for your target client. I think challenges are a great and engaging way to entice community but you can even make a simple PDF report or video training series. Set aside 3 hours this week and create your lead magnet. If you need help with design, use Canva or try Fiverr.
Once you’ve got a solid offer, opt in and facebook ad up, you need a squeeze page to drive traffic to. I like to use LeadPages but there’s also Landing Page Money and Unbounce Pages.
So your list is growing, YAY! Now you want to have a series of emails that leads to one specific call to action. If you want to sell out your one on one coaching services then the call to action is not directly to your offer but to a breakthrough session or free call where you can first see if your offer is a fit.
Part of a great email sequence is providing more value for your potential client. This positions you and your business as an expert and instills trust that you can help them move forward, solve a problem and ultimately get what they want.
After providing great content via email, you will want to send an invite to hop on the phone with you. You can also put the invite on the thank you page to your opt in.
This is a chance to uncover your prospects biggest pain point, biggest desire and lay out a plan for how you can help them get from where they are to where they want to be. Coaching is really invaluable. The truth is if they could do make the change on their own they would’ve done so already.
Coaching allows us a chance to have more accountability structure and support and to step up in a bigger way than we ever have before.
At the end of the discovery call you’ll know if it’s a fit to move forward. The truth is some people will say yes and some will say no. Business is a numbers game so don’t take it personal. Just do your best and when you get a YES make sure you have an easy process in place for people to pay you and schedule their sessions. I use paypal and acuity for both.
Start at the top and work your way through this entire funnel and you will get clients!
Even if you think 6 figures seems like a far off dream it really doesn’t require you to sign on that many clients a month to hit that goal.
Even with a modestly priced program of 2,500 you’d only need 3 new clients a month.
You can DEFINITELY find 36 people this year who’d be more than happy to invest in their own transformation.
